Transformers - A lesson in History

Hello there guys... lets us all embark on a lesson of TF history that's atleast 20++ yrs old. I am sure alot of u out there who r TF fans, but i am sure that we are all as clueless as any other when it comes to the concise history of our much loved Cybertronians.

Especially when there r so many different version of the history and continuity.. eg, The Marvel Comics continuity, The American cartoons continuity and the myriad of Jap cartoon continuity... But let us focus on the main thing... the G1 history and it's direct continuity... eg. G2, Beast Wars n Beast Machines continuity...

Below in the link for a pretty concise history lesson of the whole TF G1 mythos... hope u guys enjoyed it... n it would be fun to have an open discussion and questions about the genre too :)

P.S. - Tried copy and paste the whole thing but apparently it's too long So i guess u guys would have to read it via the link n discuss it here

Thanks for this post, I am abit confused sometime with all different series but now am trying to discuss some other famous characters as well in the TV/Animated thread. Hope can clear things up for new TF fans!

No prob... but i would suggest that anyone reading the history from the site to just save it in words file.. then read it in sections... it can be abit of a sensory overload with way too much info if u read it in one go I know i was suffering from way too much INFO hehehe...

It's tough trying to piece together all the different series of G1 continuity that directly links to Beast Wars and Beast Machines...
