Transformers Club Exclusive Seacons Now Arriving!

Many users are now reporting that - after a four year long wait - the highly-anticipated Transformers Club exclusive Seacon sets are finally arriving. The repainted G1 figures had originally been announced as a Wal-Mart exclusive for original Transformers Universe line in August 2004, during the Official Transformers Collectors' Club Convention, but the set had been shelved due to lack of retailer interest and its fate had been uncertain for years. Now, thanks to the persistance of the folks at Hasbro and the TFCC, the set has finally been made available to fans via the Club's online store.

so how about reducing the price to let say.. rm99.90 ... then i will be interested .. hehehe

If this is being sold at RM99.90 that would explain no retailer interest.

Exclusive will make this item a great addition to collection.

Hehehe RM99.90 eh... heheh wishful thinking indeed .. even if it's not an exclusive this set would still cost at least RM350. Combiners don't usually stay as shelf warmers for long...

The whole idea behind Exclusive items is the value and worth of the figures as opposed to the run of the mill figs.. much like a pasar malam faux branded t-shirt and the real deal :P

Exclusive/"collectors" item is a good buy. More valuable, at least for me :)

Hehehe i know u didn't said it la hehehe Orestes did.... but then i kinda understand where he's coming from..i used to think the idea of exclusive figures as a rip off when i first started collecting TF's.. back then 10 yrs ago.. vintage figs were selling at shops via consignment at 100 bucks a pop and i thought it was ridiculous then... but once u get into the grove of the collecting game..u'll see things differently :)... N this is a general statement lol... wink wink :P

btw, off topic, saw a diaclone SS on my recent working trip. Box bad condition, fig still ok i guess.

kindda think of it now, i'm not sure if it's a Takara's or Kingdam...will definitely go back to check it during my next trip.

Responding to off topic... erm topic for a while - u sure u wanan waste money on a diaclone SS when it's the same mold n color like the G1 SS and the multitude of repaints??.. Unless u r getting it at dirt cheap price..it ain't worth it bro :)

Depends on the condition of the fig and my pocket money that time :)

If i have to choose between TFU/Henkei and Vintage, i'll always go for vintage.

You know the feeling and urge of getting things you like, hehe
