Movie in Blu-Ray and New DVD Releases Confirmed for September 2, 2008
Along with the confirmation of Transformers Animated Season 1 on home video, Paramount Home Entertainment has also official announced the US Verison of Transformers on Blu-Ray disc for a September 2, 2008 release. A list of the special features that have official been pronounced can be seen on SuperHeroFlix.

Thanks to TVShowsOnDVD, we also learn that two new DVD versions of the live-action movie will be released on September 2nd as well. No other details are provided, but September 2nd will see the release of a "1-Disc with Optimus Prime Mask" and "2-Disc Deluxe Transforming Megatron Package" as part of Paramount's "Bring Home a Hero" promotion.
