Repaint services are very very costly... a voyager class fig could cost as much as 150 onwards. If u r loaded...this would be a good hobby to have custom painted figs...but if u r not, u r better off just leaving ur TF's as they are or learn to do it yourself... I do know one or two ticks but i lack the skills to repaint as the right type of paint is crucial and normally. Repaint artist are reluctant to share their secrets. Airbrush skill is essential as well for creating effects.
Cheers!!! N_M

Best option 4 u is do more online research on ppl doing repaint work... find out what kind of paint they use... go to an art supply store and ask the shop owner for recommendation... :)
Hope it helps.... Cheers!!! N_M

No prob... it's always better to try yourself first bcoz asking ppl to do repaints for u will cost a bomb and sometimes it just doesn't come out the way we want em to be :)
Cheers!!! N_M

I believe locally we can get mostly Tamiya or mr color stuff, correct me if i'm wrong.
Both acrylic and enamel should be ok, and depending on your preference and situation. Need to do lots of practice, like most handy skill stuff. I'm going to start doing a bit of custom myself :) Doing research now. Mainly will focus on weathering & battle damage. |

Finally sat down and did something. First attempt in any kind of figure painting, and i decided to start with some KO figure, of course lol.
Only have 1 bottle of Black with me now (still waiting for my order to come). What i learn: NEED MORE COLORS!! haha On a non-transformers: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by jicco; 07-08-2008 at 04:50 PM. |
